EDEC PROGRAMS – Excellence by Design Education Center

EDEC offers programs in College and Career Readiness, literacy through Reach One Teach One, the S.T.E.A.M. Academy, and Literary & Creative Arts Academy. These programs are offered through out the years at various recreation centers in communities outside of downtown Dallas.

Our Purpose

We provide resources to disadvantaged children and families that address educational, social, cultural, and economic needs and support educational equity in closing the gap between opportunity and achievement for those who live near or in poverty.

Donations, funding, and in-kind support help support our operating costs, academic programs and provide food, clothing, school supplies, and basic needs resources to children and families in need. You can also set up recurring gifts.
