WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to bridge the equity gap between opportunity and achievement for children, youth, and families in under-championed communities. We achieve this through programs, services, and resources that address their educational, social, cultural, and economic needs.

We design and deliver programs that help youth grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Through TEKS‑aligned instruction and evidence‑based practices, we help students overcome learning barriers and build the skills they need for long‑term success.

Mary Miller, M.ED, E.ED (ABD) – President/CEO

Founded in 2014 by Mary Miller-an educator with over 21 years of experience as a principal, teacher, and community college professor-EDEC is guided by a team dedicated to transforming youth outcomes. Our Board of Directors brings expertise in education, workforce development, finance, and community engagement.
